The Professional
Andy is accomplished in all aspects of intellectual property practice in Canada, the United States and internationally. He is highly innovative in the investigation and protection of intellectual property rights and remedies, and the negotiation of technology transfer licensing agreements. Andy is adept at assisting his clients in developing solutions to their IP problems that make most sense from a business standpoint, whether securing protection, enforcing rights or resolving disputes.

Andy is co-chair of the Trade-mark Committee of the Canadian Bar Association. Andy has also served on several committees of other international IP organizations.

The Person
Andy is an avid sports fan and spends his summers gardening and the long Ottawa winters curling. Andy’s passions for toys, games, Spiderman and the Fantastic Four continue today. Andy’s passion for food led him to graduate from the Sommelier program. When he is not visiting vineyards around the world, he can be found caring for the grape vines in his garden or at one of his barbeques (whether during the summer heat or on a freezing, snowy day).
