Elizabeth joined Macera & Jarzyna in 1986 following
a clerkship with the Supreme Court of Canada. She is
well versed in all areas of intellectual property
law, with an emphasis on trade-mark oppositions,
litigation, dispute resolution, licensing and
marketing and advertising law. The Past-Chair of the
National Intellectual Property Section of the
Canadian Bar Association, Elizabeth is a frequent
speaker on IP issues and advocacy.

The Person
A hedonist at heart, Liz enjoys fine wine, good food
and engaging conversation, although she can be
persuaded to get in touch with her northern roots
and paddle a canoe through the wilderness of
Algonquin Park in the summer.
