Janice G. Kelland - Associate

The Professional
Janice comes to the field of intellectual property from a background in chemistry and information science, and has over twelve years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Janice joined the firm in January 2009, having previously held positions in the IP groups of two major pharmaceutical companies. Prior to that, Janice served for several years on the faculty of the Chemistry department at a Canadian university. Janice is a registered patent agent and her work focuses on the drafting and prosecution of patent applications, especially in the chemical and pharmaceutical area.

The Person
Janice likes to keep active by walking and hiking and actually uses her treadmill regularly. She is an avid reader and enjoys solving puzzles, and every spring, she optimistically intends to become a better gardener.
