John has over 30 years of experience in intellectual property litigation and prosecution, and represents major Canadian and international corporations in the Canadian Intellectual Property Office and in the courts. John has been certified by the Law Society as a Specialist in Intellectual Property (Patent, Trade-Mark and Copyright) Law. John has spoken at many international conventions and meetings on IP issues including patents, trademarks, copyright, licensing intellectual property rights, and IP litigation.

The Person
John has been competitive in hockey, table tennis, baseball, golf and other sports for many years. John has successfully obtained his coaching certificates and has been a minor hockey coach in the winter and a Little League baseball coach in the summer. He has traveled extensively and enjoys photography.
