The practice of Macera & Jarzyna is restricted to IP law and litigation. Our expertise in patent, trade-mark and copyright law and related litigation ensures that clients receive effective, efficient and timely assistance in protecting and enforcing their intellectual property rights in over 200 countries. Our team includes lawyers who are also engineers, some of whom are certified as Specialists by the Law Society. With more than 50 people in our firm, we offer expertise in the drafting and prosecution of patent applications in numerous technological areas, as well as designing strategies to optimize the commercial value of technological developments.

Our Patent and Trademark groups include lawyers and engineers who have advanced degrees in science, engineering, and other disciplines. Members of our Patent and Trademark groups have sat on the Federal Board that sets national examinations for persons to qualify as registered Patent Agents and Trademark Agents, as well as the Law Society Board to certify specialists in IP law. We offer complete and comprehensive services in all areas of IP law, both nationally and internationally.

OUR REFERRAL PROGRAM:

Our practice is restricted to IP law. Our referral plan provides a comprehensive solution to all of the IP needs of your clients. It ensures that your client remains your client, and that your client receives the best possible IP representation. We will not represent your client in any non-IP matters. The referring lawyer will maintain ongoing involvement to any desired degree. We enable your firm to offer a comprehensive array of IP services to your clients. Once the relationship is underway, we in effect become a member of your team in the same sense as if we worked in your office. We frequently provide limited advice and consultation on IP matters to referring solicitors, often at no cost. Our provision of background IP and IP litigation support will enable you to continue to deal directly with your client and conduct litigation, mediation, arbitration, or negotiations with our guidance and support.
